Get ready before you apply

Anybody applying for sponsored work in the UK, in any sector. Most useful if you are applying and hearing nothing back.

The applicant who is already prepared gets shortlisted first. What to have in place before you apply, how to write what you actually did, what NVQ Level 2, 3 and 4 really buy you, and why the number of applications matters more than anybody admits. Free, no sign-in.

Why this is free

The thing we charge for is narrow and it stays narrow: the employer’s name and the link on a checked advert, £20 once, forever. Checking whether a company holds a Home Office sponsor licence is free and always will be, and so is every word on this page.

Nobody may charge you for a certificate of sponsorship. Selling one is a criminal offence in the UK, and the people who sell them rely on you not knowing what you are allowed to check for yourself.

These are interview practice, not legal or immigration advice. For your own case speak to a regulated adviser or a support organisation.
